PROJECTS

While most of my work is executed in pastel on (mainly) black paper, I also frequently work in Copic markers on toned paper as well as pastel over acrylic underpainting. Studies of fish and pastries provide ongoing expressions of my fascinations with food, iridescence, and aquascaping. My original images and characters are sourced from inside my own head, though I am endlessly inspired by the natural world. Reminders of the significant spaces and objects of my life manifest in their own shadowy Universe.
